Octagon Executive Lodge was created following the opening of a Mine in the Kenyase area of the Ahafo Region. Newmont Ahafo North Mine, the First Gold Mine in the region was poised to be one the biggest mine outside the traditional mining towns of Obuasi, Tarkwa, Prestea, Bibiani. At the start of Mine Construction, accommodation and allied facilities were very scarce and the closest to accessing decent accommodation was Sunyani or Kumasi.
The promoter seeing this tapped into the gap to setup to provide decent lodging facilities for Mining and Allied Companies.
We are located at Kenyase No 2, in the Ahafo Region. We are on the Gaumu Road after the Ola Secondary School. The Lodge is located on a plateau overlooking the Mine Resettlement Camp also known as New Site. It has 20 rooms and all rooms are with en-suite facilities.
To establish total local hospitality solutions to mining and mining support services guests as well as the general public.

Octagon Executive Lodge was inaugurated as a result of the establishment of a mining site in the Kenyase area of the then Brong Ahafo Region. Newmont Mine, the first gold mine in the region, was established to become one of the vast mining sites aside Obuasi, Tarkwa and Prestea mining towns.
